Step 1: Initial Consultation & Quote

First, contact us to discuss your team's needs, desired style, and the number of individuals involved. We will provide you with a customized quote and discuss available dates and times.

Step 2: Securing the Venue

To ensure a smooth and successful photo shoot, the person responsible for booking the session will also be responsible for securing the shooting location. This is a crucial step to confirm the venue meets all requirements:

Venue Permissions: You must obtain all necessary permissions for photography at your chosen location.

Special Effects: If you desire any special effects, such as fog, smoke, or unique lighting, you must confirm with the venue management that these effects are acceptable and permissible within their policies and safety guidelines.

Step 3: Venue Access & Setup Time

Professional photography requires precise lighting and setup. Please note the following:

We require access to the venue 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the photo shoot. Our setup process, including lighting tests and station arrangement, can take up to 30 minutes. Having this dedicated time ensures your session starts on time and everything is perfect when your team arrives.

Step 4: Understanding Photo Styles

Depending on your team's needs, we may set up multiple photography stations to accommodate traditional and composite photography.

We will discuss which style best suits your vision during the consultation.

There may be multiple stations set up to accommodate both types of desired photography.

Traditional Team Photo

This is the classic style where the entire team is photographed together in a single shot at the same time. Team members are typically posed side-by-side. This results in a final image straight from the camera.

Composite Team Photo

This is a modern style where each individual team member (and often small groups) is photographed separately against a specific backdrop. These individual images are then professionally edited and "composited" (merged) together to create a final, unified group picture. This technique allows for flexibility in posing, guarantees everyone looks their best, and makes it easier to add or swap out team members in future shoots without re-photographing the entire group.

FAQ

What is your turnaround time for receiving the final images?

Our typical turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks after the session date. This allows for thorough culling (selecting the best images) and detailed professional editing.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

We closely monitor the forecast. If the weather is unsuitable (e.g., heavy rain, high winds), we will work with you to reschedule the session at no extra charge. We typically make the final decision on rescheduling 24 hours prior to the shoot.

Can I have the unedited/RAW files?

We do not provide the unedited (RAW or straight-out-of-camera) files. Our delivered images are a finished product that represents our full creative process, including color correction, cropping, and retouching. Providing only the final, edited images ensures the quality and consistency of our brand.

Do you offer printing services, or do I have to print the photos myself?

All finished images are conveniently delivered digitally in a customized online gallery. While your package includes high-resolution files and printing rights, we highly recommend using our professional printing services through exclusive partner labs. This ensures unmatched color accuracy, durability, and the highest quality for your prints, canvases, and albums, which are available for purchase directly through the gallery.

Do you travel outside of the local area for a photo shoot?

Yes, absolutely! Please note that sessions booked outside of our local area (typically a 50-mile radius) will incur a travel fee to cover mileage, and potentially accommodations if the distance requires an overnight stay. We will include all travel costs in your customized quote if applicable.

What happens if someone from the team is late or doesn't show up?

Our session time is booked specifically for your team, and we cannot extend the time due to late arrivals. If a team member is late, we will proceed with the shoot to respect the time of those who are present. If you have booked a "composite" photo, we may be able to photograph the missing person at a later date and add them to the group photo for an additional fee. For "traditional" photos, the image will be taken with the members present.
